New Zealand band with big influences from C86 and Manchester scene. Hollow is the band’s new record, following the 2006’s You & I. Nice to hear these guys, their songs bring me good memories from the eighties atmosphere, for some minutes I lost myself and started thinking I was listening to some Stone Roses or The Bodines record. “You Should Do Better”, “All It Takes” and “Fooling No One” are the songs that really need attention (the later is one of the best indie-pop songs I’ve listened this year). Nice stuff!
